i hear a lot of the trans community that you know being a drag queen and being transual is two different things, which is true, but they do correlate with one another in ways... from many people i hear they used to do drag queen shows and stuff.... I adopted a one-year-old shih-tzu (I already have a three-year-old who I housebroke when he was a puppy). I am having to housebreak her, and I am using the same method I used with my first -- crate training. I either keep her in her crate or on a leash beside me at all times (even in the house) to prevent her from using it on the carpet. If I see her sniffing, I take her outside, as well as take her out several times throughout the day. I praise her profusely and treat her when she uses it outside. I know the amount of time varies from pet to pet, but I just want to put some numbers to that broad generalization.

Will EL wire create interference with an XLR microphone?

I'm interested in wrapping the bell of my trombone in Electroluminescent wire. During performances the EL wire will be within inches of my XLR microphone. The EL inverters drive the wire with 90-120volts at 400-1000Hz. The inverters might make a faint sound like a camera flash charging which doesn't worry me. I'm concerned that the wire itself will create electrical noise which will reek havoc with our stage equipment, sound board, XLR microphones, and monitor speakers.

Okay so my thoroughbred, sid has more problems. We called the vet out again (third time in two weeks) and had him look at a strange rash that looks like scratches (the fungus) on his nose. The vet said it could possibly be something else. He checked him all over and noticed that three of his legs were slightly swollen. Not swollen like big, but just slightly. It was only on the legs that he has white socks, and the swelling was from the knee down. first it's best not to over medicate your fish, i only use the chlorine remover when i add tap water. clean the water only every 6 weeks and only about 10%. the filter shouldn't matter as long as it keeps the water clean. a fish could go a week without feeding usually fish die from over feeding so maybe you feed it too much. feed once a day and only about 3 small flakes per fish. frozen food is healthier for the fish. algae could be too much food, too much sunlight or the tank light is on too much. for now do not add more fish let the tank sit for 3 weeks before adding more fish if the fish you have now all die then only consider buying one small cheap goldfish and see if he lives. goldfish could be mixed with guppies as long as you don't have too many goldfish so if you have the one that lives he'll be good with other tropical fish. you don't have to put salt in the water so from now on don't add salt just leave what you have. never do a 75%water change that's too much fish need bacteria in the tank. the temperature is a little high i like mine around 75F. i have three tanks and the one tank is 50gallons with all guppies that reproduce naturally in the tank and survive since i have live plants that they hide in until they are old enough to swim with the adults. my fish don't die so it's just to find the right balance and being it's a new tank you need to give the water time to sit without fish or just one goldfish.

Sounds like a control module to me. As long as your airbag lights is on your air bags will NOT deploy in an accident. The ABS, airbag and brakes should all be tied in together with the module. This dealership is trying to rip you off. $550 for "investigation" is crazy! It is true your seatbelts have sensors in them that if the airbag was deployed in the previous crash (you should be able to buy used) they can cause the airbag issue. Did you buy this car from another dealer? I would take it back and have them fix it. Also, make sure your airbags were replaced and not just a cover put over the old deployed bags.

General help about contact lenses?

I used to wear Acuvue 2 contact lenses. I would like to try a different brand that would last through a whole day without being dry or blurry. Based on my knowledge, I heard about Acuvue oasis are good and lasts longer. My optometrist ordered a pair box of oasis and will arrive in couple days. I would also would like to try the Night and Day 30 day continous wear or silicone hydrolisis contacts(high DK)moisturizing and gives more oxygen to eyes. The optometrist doesn't recommend it because higher risks of infection but I'll only wear them regular and take them out at nights. I just need contacts that would last a whole day. With acuvue 2, I come out of school and head for sports and it irritates my eyes when I play. I would like to know more information about these contact lenses. Anything I should know more? Are there different breeds of roaches, or can the little one grow to be huge?

I am feeling a little queasy even asking this question, but I was at the Richmond (VA) coliseum recently, and there were 2 of the hugest roaches eating on a crunched up cracker right near my feet...at my seat. OK, me and my girlfriend have been going out for around a year. She turned 17 just on dec 24, I will be 18 in march. She has a baby with another guy. I love the kid, thats not the issue. She grew up in a very conflict prone house. Most of her family has been druggies. There has been some ual abuse. I even suggested therapy which she attended and I drove her too. She had to stop after a few sessions because of lack of money. No one wants her with me. Her family all thinks she should just be with the father of the child. But the thing is, he is very abusive, a high school drop out, a druggie and has d her. We do not get along! But the thing is she has cheated on me a lot with him. She has recently stopped. I know, I'm stupid for staying, but I do love her. Yes we are very young, I know. So if this is all your going to say don't bother. Every time we start to do good she gets scared and does something to ruin it. All she knows is the chaos of her old life and doesn't know what to do when she is happy! I can read her very well and we just had a long talk today. She agrees she thrives on conflict and doesn't know what to do when shes really happy. She's scared to love again, be whole with me, and be happy. My question is how do you help someone like this be happy without the conflict? I've tried. People say just not to be with her and she's needs time alone to think. But without us together she can't stop herself at all from going back to her ex. He's very manipulative, and was with her for three years so he is in her head! I know she loves me otherwise she just wouldn't be with me! She cries when we talk. Sh knows what she's doing is killing me and us! But she just can't seem to stop. The setup is this: 2 african clawed dwarf frogs and a betta separated by a plexigl cage divider I am going to purchase a heater but need to know the perfect temp. for each. You can remove the ice maker from the freezer. Let it thaw out completely and thoroughly clean it. Maybe with baking soda, maybe with vinegar. Not sure the right cleaning agent. Once it is clean you will want to run several trays of ice through it before using it again.

How long did you train before getting a clean double axel?

I've been skating for three years but only once and occasionally twice a week. I've landed quite a few axels and double salchows but I've never got into the correct back spin posistion while it the air. For me this is the most difficult part as I can clearly get the height and speed. It's about how much effort you put into your skating and whether you are being taught the right technique so the amount of time for you to be able to do them is up to you. There are various exercises you can try to get your body used to the feel of an axel. For example doing a three jump (waltz jump) and from that, landing immediatly in the back spin posistion to do a back spin. You can also try axels at home just in your garden with trainers, this way you can practice getting the feeling of how its meant to be so you feel more comfortable on the ice. Hope this helps :)

A question about Kingdom Hearts?

In the games where you play as Roxas (Kingdom hearts 358/2 Days, and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II), Sora is in a deep slumber that he can't awake from until Roxas's memories are returned to him. My bet hound is really small....?

My bet hound is really small. She is 8 months old and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. Her parents were both really big, probably about 70 pounds each. Her and her sister were both the same size, so I am pretty sure she wasn't the runt. So why is she so small? Do bets tend to grow slower? Will she start growing again once she goes into heat? Help Kitty Issue!! Sick/Discharge!?

I adopted a 6 month old female calico kitten almost 2 weeks ago! She is up to date on her shots (one distemper due next month to finish the three she needed to receive) she has been spayed, I took her to the vet twice since I got her! On the first visit I found out she had ringworm on her ear (treating it as we speak and it is improving greatly) and on the second visit I was concerned because she had been sneezing excessively (clear sneezes no discharge... vet wasnt concerned)! Well she ped on the sneezing spurt to my 5 year old cat (she still occionally sneezes)... the kitten now has green, thick, excessive, eye boogers (had to use a warm wash cloth to get it off... she was squinting)! Is this producing into an actual virus now? My poor baby and her vet trips! Im going to call the vet again today and we are taking the 5 year old in Friday! Can a towing company purchase a vehicle for lien amount at its own auction in Florida?

Car was towed by towing company. The vehicle stood there for over 50 days (long story), and the car was set for auction to satisfy towing lien. All formal notice was given, and vehicle was auctioned. The only thing is, the towing company who has a clear interest in the auction, is the one who ultimately bought the vehicle for 700 dollars (the car is a 2005 Audi A4 convertible worth over 30k.)--they were probably the only bidder. The FL statute doesnt have any guidelines for the actual conduct of the auction and doesnt say the towing company running the sale can't bid, but it seems like this is just plain wrong, and reeks of foul play. They probably hid the car and didnt even present it at the auction. It seems unbelieveable to me that noone would bid even that small amount on this beautiful brand new vehicle. Any advice?

I feel that every once in awhile I'll meet a friend's friend and they won't give me the time of day. First, I am not a "slacker". I have a decent 3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I am also majoring in ECON. B.S. not B.A. Anyone who has chosen this major or finance knows that there is a lot of higher order math involved and many abstract concepts. ever since i had my 4th kid my teeth are breaking. not the front my back teeth. my front teeth are great. i dont know what is causing it. my hemoglobin is 14.6 and that was taken 3 days after i had a 2 in a half week long menstrual cycle. i weigh 127 and in am 5'3. my youngest son he had problems with his teeth something about calcium. i took my prenatal when i was only 5 weeks pregnant. my mom told me to take 2 intsead of one but i was scared that i would me and the baby. so i didnt listen to her. she says my teeth are breaking because i had so many kids. i brush my teeth at leat 3 times a day. and for my broken teeth should i get them pulled or get a crown. what is the difference between a fake tooth and a crown. and what are my other options. i seriously doubt they can put a filling on them because half of the tooth is gone.

The problem is: last week I went to the doctor for a Thyroid Panel and she said my thyroid is "enlarged" so I might have Hypothyroidism, so she ordered a Thyroid Panel of blood tests and the results aren't in yet, so I'm worried that if I DO have it, and I don't get medication, I might have a miscarriage. Can an individual be terminated or fired from a job who on temporary disability for job abandonment?

Most states are employment at will states, meaning the employee or the employer has the right to terminate the employment agreement without notice or reason. So yeah they can terminate you for just about anything. Did the person work their long enough to apply for FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). If so then the employer can't fire them as long as they are on FMLA leave for the temporary disability. Hopefully, they can file for unemployment if they worked their long enough.

Hi everyone. I'm switching jobs and have to purchase a vehicle. I'm currently in an 07 Fusion (co. car) and would like some feedback on the cars I'm looking at. I want to spend at the most 18k and am looking at the following: 03-04 Audi A4, 04 Volvo S40, 03 Acura TL. I'm also considering an 04 Maxima, but can't find one within my price range. I used to have an Accord and Maxima, but really like the first three cars mentioned. However, I'm at a crossroads with all the research I've done regarding their reliability. Can someone please give me some advice/feedback on the Audi, Acura, and Volvo in particular? Your experience with any of these cars and how long I can expect them to run if i buy one with 50k miles or less would be greatly appreciated!!! How to line up a putt while wearing thick gles?

Since I got my latest prescription gles, I cannot line up and make a putt to save my life! If it weren't for the high index plastics (polymers or whatever they are these days) they would be like Coke bottle bottoms as they are in the 20/400 + range. Chirping sound coming from front end of atv?

I have a 1999 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4. When I accelerate I notice a loud chirping / squeaking sound coming from somewhere in the front end. I took both wheels off and cleaned out the gr and such inside the brakes, lubricated the driveshaft for the front wheels. I've also tried spraying some lubricant on the rotors and breaks to see if that helps and nothing works. When I apply the brakes the noise does not go away. When I slow down the noise slows down, when I speed up the noise speeds up. And I noticed it makes the chirp noise about 4 times for every time the tire makes one complete rotation. I just bought this used not too long ago and it's the first atv I've ever owned so I'm not really knowledgeable on this. I have also had the front end jacked up and the wheels do not wobble at all. I've also tried jacking the entire atv up front and back at the same time and have all 4 wheels turning off the ground and it does not chirp then. If I go a steady speed and accelerate quickly the noise goes away until there is more pressure on the front end. Does anyone know what I might be able to try to make this go away. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Even though im 13 my parents treat me like im 2 i have no freedom?

They tell me what to do 24/7 its not like I get terrible grades or something ip an honor student I have refused many negative things and my parents are aware of this. I don’t understand why I can’t play halo imp 13 for god’s sakes. My mom is all right however my dad refuses to let me play many T video games. Often they use a strictly enforced curfew. They tell me I can only play video games for up to and hour a day im not unhealthy or overweight I run miles everyday because im on the basketball team and yet they continue to give me all these limits. Half their limits make no since. I feel powerless none of my ideas are even considered or paid any attention to. I feel completely ignored. The worst part is after all these limits my dad doesn’t even know how old I am! I am forced to get all as and Bs in every cl (I even have 90% advanced) if I get anything lower my parents take away my video games for a forth of a year. Its terrible everything has rules most don’t make sense like I cant flush the toilet after using it to "save the environment" we aren’t trying to save money we are very well off. I know this is a health hazard and I have said this many times however I am being ignored I don’t understand. They treat me like a moron even though I have good grades and a great citicizenship. Everything has seasalt in it now and my food sources are getting scarce because I'm too afraid to try it. I want to stop hating my sister but I can't?

My sister is seven years younger than me. Ever since she was born I've been unhappier. She has always been very sickly and my parents and grandparents have devoted a lot of time to her and have always constantly doted on her, insisting that she needs it because she's "sick". She is all they can talk about, and every time I talk to them they bring her up and talk about how they are so sad about how sickly and poor she is. She is extremely annoying and selfish and bratty, and she literally acts like a five year old (even though she is much older than that). My parents' justification for this is that she has been too busy recovering from illnesses all her life to have time to mature and develop as much as she should. They always take her side for things. She always expects to be the center of attention and I absolutely hate her. Just looking at her makes me seethe with anger, so I snap at her all the time. It's the very fact that she exists that makes me hate her so much. I have no love for her at all. I've tried to feel it but I can't. I know this is horrible and selfish and I don't want to feel this way but I can't help it. What do I do?
