Why are many transuals ex-drag queens?

i hear a lot of the trans community that you know being a drag queen and being transual is two different things, which is true, but they do correlate with one another in ways... from many people i hear they used to do drag queen shows and stuff.... I personally wouldn't want to be related to drag queen stuff because for one it's expensive and two it's just odd in my opinion but if other people want to do that then that's their thing and i resxpect that. but some trans people just go crazy at the relation of drag queens and transuals. because many transuals *have* been drag queens and have done show for a long time. so why do people not like that idea that it shows relation yet there are many trans women were drag queens once..
