Is God's plan for you REALLY much cooler than your own?

I want to be a comic book writer, I dream about it alot, but I fear God has another plan…for me to be mom with bratty kids & a not-so-great husband. I don't want kids, nor do I want to ask God for the strength to deal with them or a husband. However, I feel this is my true purpose & it’s time for me to accept it, as my family doesn’t support my dreams (like they know I won’t make it so why try). :(
