Do you think it's possible for Democrats and Republicans who are gun owners to work together for their rights?

Barack Obama is on your side, and so am I. I am a Democrat, and though I do not currently have a gun, rifle or other firearm, I have no objection to responsible people being allowed to have useful firearms under safe conditions. The President has stated that he is against more gun control, and wouldn't support anti-gun measures.
