Does this look like i messed everything up or not?

i have been seeing this guy for two weeks..he is gorgeous and sweet and so fun to be with. well for the past two weekends he has stayed the night with me and we have really bonded alot. well the other morning he was talking about something and then he said " i would already be married and have a kid by now if i hadnt made some bad choices" ..my heart just stopped...beause this guy knows that i have had my tubes tied and i can not have any more kids. so later that day he could tell something was wrong and he asked me about it. i told him that i dont understand why he is dating someone that he knows can never give him the life he wants. he was cool about it though...he said that if things got serious with us that he would just have my tubes untied, but that he is not looking that far into the future yet. and that he likes to go with the flow. he had me walk him to his car then he kissed me and gave me a hug and said he would be back next weekend. i feel like i messed everthing up with that question that i asked him. but last night i texted him and asked if he was tripping out over what i said to him and he said "no not at all why?"so you tell me if this looks like the begining of a relationship or did i ruin it?
