How can I make homemade grappling/wrestling mats?

I am 16 and I grapple for fun. I need a cheap alternative for about a 12' by 12' area. My town doesn't sell anything cheap and my price range is about $100. Slams and takedowns would be nice to do but, if thats too much to ask for then oh well. So if you could tell me how to make something or where to buy cheap ones that would be nice. MAHALO
