What doents are used to prove citizenship in the U.S.? ?

When applying for my background check for a hazardous materials endorsement on my C.D.L., somehow I must have said I was a citizen of both the U.S. and Afghanistan of all places. Now I must submit evidence that I am indeed a U.S. citizen.
