Can you make a latte with a Keurig coffee maker with espresso beans and a milk steamer?

I LOVE Vanilla lattes from Starbucks, but I cannot afford to buy one every day. I have a keurig coffee maker and the reusable K-cup. Can I put espresso beans in the k cup and run it through the machine then add vanilla syrup and steamed milk to make a latte??
